AIRPORTS: We have worked with the airport sector since 2005 with clients including  Heathrow, Dublin, Bologna, Naples and Milan. We have provided strategic HR training for international airport leaders since 2012 on behalf of ACI (Airports Council International).

 

HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE: We have worked with the Managing Director and leadership of the independent innovative social enterprise 'Your Healthcare' since 2010 on innovative approaches to the delivery of integrated community services

 

ENTREPRENEURS: We provide organisational and leadership support to rapidly expanding ventures, most recently in the CBD area but also in property development

 

DOMESTIC ABUSE: We have helped transform Aoibhneas Womens and Children's Refuge.  Terri Morrissey was Chairperson from 1990 -2013 and received an award for outstanding service. Richard Plenty has been a Director since 2012. The  CEO Emma Reedy was recognised as 2019 Irish Businesswoman of the Year in the Social Entrepreneur category

 

CLIMATE CHANGE: We facilitated the first global summit of psychology associations in Lisbon on 'Psychology and Global Health - Leaders in Climate Change '. The summit was attended by the President of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. We worked on behalf of the American Psychological Association and the Order of Portuguese Psychologists

Courage, Authenticity and Identity

The Story of This Is ...

Many years ago, a young aspiring student had to take part in a competitive three and a half hour examination to get into the prestigious university of his choice. He entered the examination room, turned over his paper, and read. There was one question and one question only, on the exam paper.

 

'What is Courage?' was the question in front of him.

The student thought for a few minutes before writing : 'This is'.

 

He handed his paper in and walked out of the exam room three hours early. He got an offer.

 

We named our company This Is ... to reflect the importance of these values of courage and integrity - and the need for actions to be consistent with beliefs - in times of turbulence, uncertainty and change. The company name also emphasises the importance of knowing your identity and what you stand for in times of change and transition
