Our Coaching Panel

Our coaching panel combines business acumen, bottom line focus, psychological insight and a passion for stakeholder interests with the capability to facilitate real change in thinking, behaviour and mindset.


All panel members are qualified and experienced coaches, committed to continuous improvement and work to the highest ethical and professional standards.  We are able to coach across the world,  having developed a specific expertise in telephone coaching.


John McClean John is responsible for our coaching programmes. He is joint Facilitator of the global Association for Coaching Co-coaching Forums in Ireland and is a Founder Member of the Association of Coaching in Ireland.  He has over 20 years experience of senior leadership roles in both Chief Executive and Director roles.  He is currently providing executive and business coaching to teams and to individual clients while at the same time managing and providing coaching supervision to a team of 12 coaches working for an educational charity.  He recently attended the first International "Inner Game" Coaching Conference in Los Angeles in April 2008 under a special Bursary Scheme. He holds a Post Graduate Advanced Management Diploma in Executive & Business Coaching (First Class Honours) at the UCD Michael Smurfit Business School and is currently studying for a Diploma in Coaching Supervision.  John is also certified to administer a range of psychometric and diagnostic tools such as 16PF, Dimensions and NEO PI-R.


Terri Morrissey is the Chairperson of This Is. Her core competency is in delivering behaviour change at a deep level with people at all levels in organisations.  Terri has coached  Chief Executives and senior teams and designed and delivered 'train the trainer' and 'train the internal coach' programmes.  Her qualifications include an honours degree in Psychology from UCD, an MBA from Fordham University in New York where she was a gold medallist and won the Dean's Award for Excellence.  More recently she completed an Advanced Management Diploma in Business & Executive Coaching at University College Dublin, Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in 2009


Richard Plenty is the Managing Director of This Is. His coaching style is strategic and business focused, aimed at measurably improving business and leadership performance, using 360 degree feedback and psychometric data where appropriate.  Richard currently coaches a number of Chief Executives, Senior Partners and Directors.  He is a  Chartered Occupational Psychologist in the UK and has recently completed an Advanced Management Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Executive Coaching at the Smurfit Graduate School of Business, University College Dublin.  He is trained on psychometric testing at  Level A and Level B.


is an experienced consultant in organisation development and change, applying psychological principles to enhance learning and effectiveness in organisations, teams and individuals.  She trains, coaches and consults on organisation design, change management, team building and managerial style.  Her emphasis is on aligning individual behaviours with the purpose, strategy and culture of the organisation. Carol is a chartered clinical psychologist with a PhD in behaviour change and qualifications in Myers Brigg.  She is much in demand as an individual coach and has coached individual clients in diverse organisations including the European Commission in Brussels


is an experienced Organisational Development consultant with a specific interest in helping to develop high performing individuals and teams within businesses. He has consulted and trained in the field of organisational and people development for the past 10 years.  Simon's qualifications include a MSc from Roffey Park Institute in People and Organisational Development where his dissertation specialised on building innovative organisations


Julianne Miles is an experienced business consultant with her a wealth of experience including strategy development, executive coaching, marketing analysis and has designed and implemented change programmes.  She is currently working at the Cranfield School of Management Business School as a career coaching executive (part-time), providing executive coaching support to MBA students.   Julianne's qualifications include an MBA with INSEAD Business School, a Masters Degree (with distinction) in Organisational Psychology from London City University as well as a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (with distinction) from University of Westminster


Emma Donaldson-Feilder is an organisation psychologist with a deep interest in helping organisations achieve sustainable business performance.   She works with organisation leaders and employees at all levels to improve their personal effectiveness and quality of working life.  She is a specialist in work place well being and was named as "Psychologist of the Year" by the Occupational Division of the British Psychological Society in the UK in 2008.  Emma's qualifications include an honours degree in Psychology from Cambridge University, as well as an MSc in Organisational Psychology from City University

Richard Townsend is an adviser in organisational and team leadership and has extensive knowledge within the field of education and beyond.  His leadership as a former Head Teacher has been described as "outstanding" and he has a proven track record of making an impact. He was awarded a lifetime achievement award by the UK government for his contribution in 2004.   He is skilled at all aspects of organisation leadership and management: ethos and vision, strategy and personnel development, team-building, performance management, mentoring, coaching and he is adaptable and innovative.  Richard's qualifications include an MA in Modern and Medieval Languages, University of Cambridge, PCGE from Kings College and an MBA from Leeds Metropolitan University


Keith Power has competed, coached, lead and consulted at the highest level in sport and has a proven track record of excellence working with globally renowned organisations.   He has worked with top players, top teams and several world and Olympic champions.  In the corporate world he has worked with organisations Board level down and has expertise in the area of human performance including performance coaching, human change systems and processes, creating and sustaining elite teams and cultural performance analysis and culture change.  Keith's qualifications include an honours degree in sports science and a masters degree in sports psychology from Exeter University
